About the Designer

GRACE GONZÁLEZ, raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration from the Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia and her Masters Degree in Visual Communication Design from The Pratt Institute in New York. While studying at Pratt she founded a Jewelry Design Company in New York (that eventually was moved to Puerto Rico when she graduated) alongside her business partner that took her to create collections that where showcased in Henri Bendel, Nanette Lepore and in prestigious boutiques and department stores in her native island.

Seeking new challenges and to grow as a designer, she moved from Puerto Rico to the Big Apple in October 2011, to work as a Jewelry Designer for companies such as Haskell Jewels: Lord &Taylor, Sunflower Jewelry; JCrew, Stella & Dot and Burch Creative Capital. In 2014, her journey to reach the next level in her creative process led her to create her own line in the city of New York, “Grace Gonzalez New York”.

Her new vision, and signature pattern, encompassed the life of a"Latin Gypsy Soul". This wanderlust Traveler was inspired by all that she saw and everything that surrounded her. Every moment and experience contributed to her on-going growth as a designer and is reflected in all the collections she created.

In 2022 she moved back to Puerto Rico & founded, Grace Gonzalez Jewelry. Finally at home where she creates jewelry inspired by her journey, her stories & heritage. Giving us a piece of her life with each & every collection she creates. Seasonal Collections & Capsule Collections can be found, along with special year round collections and custom pieces for her clients. The “Cielo” is the limited for this #WomanBoss #Entrepreneur & #LatinGypsySoul

 Special Thanks to:

Her family in Puerto Rico and New York who always stood by her. Especially to her mother and grandmother who are a constant source of inspiration, love, guidance and support. And also to the Tory Burch Foundation and the Women Entrepreneurship Program with Goldman Sachs thru which she was able to make her dream a reality.
